The Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Cochin College have signed MoU to foster industry-academia collaboration. The partnership aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices, enhancing students’ educational experience and employability.
The MoU was signed by Akshay Agarwal, president of ICCI, and Mridhula Menon V, Principal, Cochin College.
Benchmark for industry-academia collaborations
The collaboration will focus on various initiatives such as internships and training, R&D, industry visits, guest lecturers and seminars, placement support and so on. It will also offer students with hands-on experience through internships, workshops, and training programs in collaboration with industry experts.
The partnership between ICCI and Cochin College is expected to set a benchmark for industry-academia collaborations and pave the way for future endeavours, said a press release.
