Shares of railway-related companies surged in early trade on Saturday, ahead of the Union Budget presentation for FY26. The stocks of Titagarh Rail Systems, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), RailTel Corporation of India, RITES, Texmaco Rail, IRFC, BEML, Ircon International, IRCTC and Container Corporation were in focus.
Titagarh shares gained nearly 8 per cent to hit an intra-day high of ₹1,100 on the NSE. The stock traded 6.57 per cent higher at ₹1,085.85 as at 10.53 am.
RVNL shares gained 5 per cent, surpassing ₹500 level in early trade. It traded 3.67 per cent positive at ₹493.80 as at 10.55 am.
RailTel shares traded at ₹419.70, positive by 3.22 per cent on the NSE as at 10.56 am, on securing multiple work orders.
IRFC shares surged 3 per cent to hit a high of ₹155.52, currently trading at ₹154.16 on the NSE.
Texmaco Rail & Engineering shares were up 2.32 per cent at ₹201.14; RITES shares surged 4.08 per cent to ₹271.50; BEML shares gained 2.08 per cent to ₹3,924.80; and Ircon International shares rose 1.87 per cent to ₹225.56.
Shares of Container Corporation and IRCTC traded flat at ₹778 and ₹828.50, respectively.
