Boston Consulting Group with 34 offers emerged as the “largest recruiter” at Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIMA) which conducted the first cluster of final placements for the PGP class of 2025.
Over 47 firms participated in Cluster 1 on Friday which comprised six cohorts – investment banking and markets, management consulting, niche consulting, advisory consulting, cards and financial advisory, private equity, venture capital, and asset management, stated an official release here, Saturday.
Prominent recruiters in the management consulting cohort included regular recruiters such as BCG, McKinsey, Kearney, Accenture Strategy, Monitor Deloitte, Simon-Kucher, EY Parthenon, Deloitte, PwC and KPMG. Prominent recruiters in the Investment Banking and Markets space included Avendus Capital, Moelis, HSBC, with the highest offers in Investment Banking made by Goldman Sachs (8).
The PE and VC domain saw an uptick, with the participation of firms like General Atlantic, Everstone, Elevation Capital, Arga Investment. American Express rolled out 15 offers, highest in the cards and financial advisory cohort. Firms such as Transformation X (Dubai) and Arthur D Little (Riyadh) rolled out international placement opportunities for the student pool, the release added.
The Clusters 2 and 3 of placements will be held on February 3 and 6, respectively.
